EQUIPMENT RENTAL AND LABOR DISCLOSURE

 

General Condition

 

Services

 

  Contracted Agreed services of the use of rental equipment and or the employment of laborer (Grip) and or Equipment Operator (E.O.) representing Matt Roberts & Vill Thomas LLC is between Matt Roberts & Vill Thomas LLC (“The Company”) and “the Client”.

  “The Company” shall guarantee before equipment release that all rental equipment are; properly package, batteries fully charged and working and that all cables winded and in order.

  “The Client” shall inspect every piece of rental equipment before release for any unreported damages.

 

  Equipment rental are rated by the project and is solely for the purpose and exclusive use for cinematography. All equipment rentals include limited batteries and supported formatted SD or Micro SD cards.

  Labor pay is rated by the film project. See the chart at the bottom of the site for a full description of cost.

For Small Filming Projects:

  We are not responsible for up keeping or maintaining raw footage or data of any kind, therefore be sure to have the appropriate back up data storage device or drives ready before filming. We do offer video editing and drive storage at an additional cost. See the chart at the bottom of the site for a full description of cost.

Responsibility

  “The Client” is required to pay a deposit of 25% for rental equipment exceeding $1000.

 

  Under the care and supervision of “the Client”, assumes full legal and financial liability for all and any lost, stolen and or damaged rental equipment. Lost, stolen and or damages equipment can be reimbursed with cash or the same exact equipment or equipment with equal functionality and in working order.

 

  The use of any company equipment, labor and or employee for committing crimes or breaking U.S. laws state or federal or laws governing in any country that’s resides outside the U.S. that’s constitute a crime will result in immediate termination of agreement, the return of all rented equipment and result in the forfeiture of any payment. All sales are final.

Labor

Responsibility

  “The Client” must provide a safe working environment when contracting a laborer grip or a E.O.

 

  Labor cost is rated by the filming project. Our labor is broken into two divisions, Camera Operators and Grips. When employing our labor, “the Client” relinquishes any legally and financially liable for any lost, stolen and or damages of rented equipment, for it will always be under the care and supervision of the operator and grips.

 

  Our labor guarantees to be professional, prompt and provide competent services and insures that all equipment is in working order. For basic equipment prep time or set up time is usually one hour before shoot. Labor will bring, setting up operating equipment, film the required scene, clean up and return the equipment back to the storage facility. “The Client” will not be charged for any set up time or cleanup time.

 

  “The Client” agrees to the set the set of tasks that labor is required to do provided that the labor isn't unreasonable. This is the Scope of work as followed:

Equipment Operator Scope of work

  Operators will be responsible for the use and operation of one piece of equipment; camera or boom mic, example; camera with attachment i.e. tripod, stabilizer or shoulder rig or Microphone attached to  boom pole.

Grips Scope of work

 

 Grips are responsible for setting up lighting and cameras support rigging such as track dollies, jibs cranes, gliders and sliders. Prep time will vary based on equipment use and location.

Scheduling

  “The Client” must notify the labor of all filming dates and locations and must inform the labor of any time changes and or rescheduling dates. Any changes made after initial set up resulting in resetting up of equipment and will constitute as labor worked and time paid.

 

  In order to get the most use out of our equipment “the Client” must allow “the Company” to have at least 24 hour charging time for equipment battery before date of filming.

 

UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) Conditions

  *Note drone uses are only applicable due to ideal clear weather conditions (rain, strong winds and or snow is not applicable for use) or laws permitting use.­­­­
